Here is the JSPR team:
Julia cut her teeth in the PR industry in London under the direction of Joan Scott, another ‘JSPR’ where she became a board director and specialised in health, not-for-profit and travel accounts. For eight years she worked on the British Heart Foundation PR account, responsible for the hugely successful London to Brighton Bike Ride, among other initiatives.
Julia went on to MS&L, one of the world’s leading communications companies, where she worked remotely from her office in Oxfordshire. She left to start her own travel and leisure PR consultancy in 1994, taking with her the award-winning activity specialist Inntravel, which remains a client to this day.
Having had itchy feet from a young age, Julia has a genuine passion for travel and the outdoors life. In her gap year she spent six months as an au pair in the High Pyrenees, and later had a wild four months as a DJ in a Gothenburg night club. This year her own travels will include an Easter pilgrimage that finishes at Exeter Cathedral, a week of pedalling in Puglia, a perfect combination of luxury and culture on the Lycian Coast, and some celebrations on a Caribbean island to mark a friend’s big birthday.
She lives with Stephen in an Oxfordshire market town, and has two (sometimes) grown up children.
